Our Client is the worlds largest aerospace company and leading manufacturer of commercial jetliners and defence, space and security systems
Communications Coordinator, EMEA based in Madrid, Spain temporary job for 3 or 4 months
• Provide office and administrative support to the EMEA Communications Director.
This will include:
o Coordinate and process travel arrangements and logistics,
o Generate expense reports and assist in reconciling corporate credit card charges,
o Create, edit and maintain electronic and written communication, process incoming and outgoing correspondence,
o Coordinate schedules and prioritise, plan and implement logistics to coordinate events.
• Provide support in the creation and dissemination of internal EMEA communications tools, including:
o EMEA DMR: Proofread EMEA DMR entries & create/distribute report Write daily media report for Spain.
o What’s Hot EMEA editor: Collect entries, integrate, edit and distribute
o EMEA monthly clippings focal: monitor EMEA country clippings and liaise with PR agencies or communicators to meet requirements Collate, translate and publish Spain monthly media clippings.
o Communicators Toolbox: Update communicators’ toolbox and other periodical tools as required.
• Provide support in the creation and dissemination of media materials, including:
o Translate and distribute news releases and other relevant materials to Spanish media,
o Assist with basic requests from Spanish and other European media
o Assist in the organization of media briefings and other special projects or events in Spain and Europe.
• Support Spain Communications Manager in the following activities:
o Act as Spain website focal: Review and translate new relevant text modify, update and post content.
o Collaborate on GCC projects in Spain
o Provide support for internal communications activities in Spain, including write/translate/edit BNN and internal newsletter
• Provide support at Air Shows in EMEA Paris and Farnborough:
o Support EMEA Communications Director in the organization of the Air Show, before and during the show, focusing on communications planning and media chalet management.
o Provide support to the Air Show communications team in regular planning conference calls.
o Coordinate and manage media schedule edit air show website content support media reception supervise media chalet catering, logistics & operations.
o Co-ensure positive working environment for media team and internal stakeholders at the show, in close coordination with the country communications team.
• Other Communications responsibilities:
o Cybergrants focal for EMEA Communications memberships and sponsorships requests.
Required skills and experience
o Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
o Strong verbal and written communication skills.
o A minimum of five years related experience
o Initiative, collaboration, problem solving and judgment, adaptability and flexibility,
o Customer focus
o Ability to prioritise many concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment maintaining keen attention to detail and follow-through.
o Information Technology Fluency
o Proficiency with Microsoft office products word, excel, powerpoint, outlook, project, and web based applications.
