Título: Safety Process Specialist Fecha: 17-nov-2021 Ubicación: Madrid, España, España Empresa: 00Q8-CEPSA QUIMICA,S.A. The successful candidate will develop and maintain a Process Safety Management System, process, standards, best practices and capabilities for implementation across the business
. Being accountable for establishing and developing a Safety Management System in order to provide information about the barriers that could avoid severe accidents and propose actions to improve them, the candidate will:
Lead, develop and maintain a Process Safety Management System, ensuring that is implemented and maintained homogeneously in all the assets and business areas, and are aligned with the business expectations.
Define the processes to be used across the business to ensure a correct safety performance and the best efficiency (example: incident investigation related to process safety).
Search for references and best practices in the market, incorporating them into processes and procedures.
Act as centers of competence. Promote cooperation, knowledge communities and improvement groups. Develop and disseminate the application of standards, lessons learned and good practices. Actively identify improvement and training needs.
Propose the KPI to be follow in the business and assets. Inform management and advise on measures to reduce, prevent and minimize risks and monitor KPIs. Prepare and monitor of the annual planning of internal and external audits. Propose corrective actions to resolve detected non-conformities. Management of external audits and inspections (Marsh). Accompany the external auditors and manage the presentation of the documentation they require
Establish overall planning/activities, priorities for Safety activities, monitor and adjust if necessary. Propose human/material resources needed to carry out responsibilities effectively.
Provide the necessary input for global safety talent planning. Facilitate the development of expertise and promote talent through training and education.
Define the necessities to choose the best IT/Digital solutions tools considering the characteristics of the assets. Coordinate and lead its develop and the report necessities. Prepare specific reports for the business. Support other areas with the information needed (ESG). Inform and report to external entities (FEIQUE). Maintain business documentation, records, etc.
Participate in external forums (national/international) to obtain global network, trends and market practices. Represent the business in public organizations for safety issues (CEFIC, FEIQUE, etc.). Drive continuous improvements in safety. Promote and impulse safety culture, define and coordinate safety culture projects in the business (Dupont safety excellence project)
Advising the business on projects and due diligence
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial or Chemical Engineering
5-10 years ‘experience in Engineering, operations or Safety Fluent English is required. Fluent French will be highly valuable.
Knowledge of business operational processes and knowledge of process safety management.
Training and experience in Change Management (CM), Risk management and Process Risk analysis (PHA), as well as process safety management (PSM), will be needed Enviar candidatura ahora »
